2014: A Year of Promises & Progress (I hope!)

Happy New Year!

Yesterday I completed a “Yoga Meltdown” session…and consumed far too many Doritos staying up ’til midnight. This morning I slept in until almost noon (accidentally) and consequently my internal clock has been entirely messed up. At 2 o’clock (to me it felt like 9 am), I ran two miles at the gym– progress from Sunday’s 1 mile, and I ran it with a faster time. I had a healthy brunch, but my dinner was Chinese food, pretty bad, but it is still a holiday.

Tomorrow morning, I will run another two miles, but that will not count as a workout. Remember, running is only a workout if I run a 5k. My workout will be a Jillian Michaels DVD. I also will begin my food diary. Sadly, I can’t eat chocolate or drink soda anymore.
