Sorry I’ve been out of touch. Life got crazy busy. We are at day 207, for those keeping score. I started running more and can now make it over a mile without my calves seizing up. This is good progress! My husband says the second mile is easier than the first and so on. I am planning a trip for the one year anniversary of this blog: a camping/hiking trip in the Appalachians. I wanted to go at the end of this semester, but the parks at the southern base of the trail close for the winter and won’t reopen until April. No worries; that gives me plenty of time to get my legs in fully-functional, working order. My goal is to be able to run five miles by then (closer goal: a 5k by Christmas).
Oh and, p.s., the weather has been beautiful lately, in the 60*s.
